Huntingdonshire Fencing Club
Club Facilities
The club meets on Thursday evenings from 7:00pm until 11:00pm in the main sports hall of the St. Neots Leisure Centre. The club is well supplied:
* Five electric pistes
* Space for a further two steam pistes
* A large stock of gloves, plastrons and jackets for all sizes from Junior to XL adult
* Several lame jackets for all sizes from Junior to XL adult
* A large stock of weapons, foil, epee and sabre, both electric and non-electric
* FREE coaching from Mike Ellis our own BAF qualified coach, qualified in all three weapons or one of the other BFA qualified coaches (for club members).
* Beginners' course run twice yearly
* Club ladder
Visiting fencers are always welcome (a small fee will be required) but need to be members of the BFA for insurance purposes.
In addition to the club's own facilities the St. Neots Leisure Centre also has a wide range of facilities:
* Changing rooms and showers
* Bar and cafeteria selling alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and a wide range of food
* Fitness Studio (for members only)
* Sauna and Solarium
* Swimming pool, why not bring the family they can swim while you fence !
